3. Big natural trails for dogs who love adventure

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park can be beautiful for more natural portraits, but it is best for dogs that do well on a leash and can handle a more active setting. The National Park Service says pets are welcome there, must be on a handheld leash no more than 6 feet long, should stay on trails, and are not allowed in the Visitor Center.
